Come to Bridgewater College and Winning Edge Volleyball Camps. With us, learn the skills that will give you the Edge you need to accomplish your goals! All skill levels welcome!

Join us in Bridgewater, VA, located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, for an exciting and fun volleyball experience. Your Winning Edge instructors will include:

Greg Spector -Bridgewater College head volleyball coach
Gina Troyer –Turner Ashby High School head volleyball coach
Former and current BC players
Visiting college coaches and players

We offer attention to detail that is vital to the training of young athletes, a training environment that makes it fun to learn, and a camp designed to make every individual camper feel important.

Our maximum 10:1 camper to counselor ratio ensures that every camper receives the highest level of feedback possible.

We will test the skill level of every camper involved in our program. This feedback is designed to maximize your volleyball potential. The camp will cover all areas of volleyball training from fundamentals to advanced training techniques.

All indoor sessions will be conducted in one of our two air-conditioned facilities: Funkhouser Center and Nininger Hall. In addition to indoor volleyball, we will be training on both sand and grass courts to enhance the indoor game.

Athletic socks (a pair for each session)

Winning Edge Volleyball Camps will take place at Bridgewater College on the following dates:

All Skills Camp: June 28-July 1

Position Camp: July 1-2

Junior Camper Clinic: June 28-June 30

All Skills Camp, (grades 7-12)- $365 for resident campers (includes room, board, camp T-shirt, a formal evaluation and 3 ½ days of instruction.) $285 for Day Campers (does not include room and breakfast.) Early Bird special discount of $25 for all applications, paid in full by June 1st 2010.

Registration: June 28 at 9 am

Camp schedule:

9 am - 9 pm Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

9 am - 12 noon Thursday

Position Camp (grades 7-12)- $200 for resident campers (includes room, board, camp T-shirt and a formal evaluation for your chosen position.) $150 for Day Campers (does not include room and breakfast.) Early Bird special discount of $10 for all paid applications, paid in full by June 1st, 2010.

Registration: July 1 at 9:30 am

Camp schedule:

10:30 am- 9 pm Thursday

9 am - 5 pm Friday

Multi-Camp/Sibling discount: $10 off per camp/ camper pair.

Junior Camper Clinic (boys and girls grades 3-6): ~~Clinic will be held June 28-June 30 from 6-8 p.m. Cost is $50 per camper.~~ This camp has been canceled to due low enrollment.

Housing

All resident campers are housed in Bridgewater College dormitories and are supervised by camp counselors and BC housing staff. Please bring your own blankets and linens. Campers not requesting a roommate will be housed with a camper of the same approximate age. * Room Key Card deposit: $40 (separate check required; will be held until camper returns key at check out)

Out of State Campers
If you are joining us from out of state, we offer complimentary airport transportation to and from Shenandoah Valley Regional Airport, located in Weyers Cave, VA. Please contact us for more information.

Refunds & Cancellations

Paid reservations that are canceled on or before June 1, 2010 will receive a refund (minus a $50 administrative fee). Reservations paid in full and canceled after June 1, 2010 will receive a refund (minus a $100 administrative fee). No refunds will be issued after June 15, 2010.
